Maybe you’re looking for a better editor experience. Maybe you want your dashboard to give you deeper insights into your sales team’s performance.
Proposify might have been the new kid on the block in 2013, but now it has plenty of competitors that do what it does–maybe even better.
In this article, we cover 16 of the top Proposify alternatives and competitors. We group our review in two sections:
Top competitors AKA software that are within the proposal creation software category and offer more or less the same features as Proposify
- Proposally
- PandaDoc
- Qwilr
- Better Proposals
- Bidsketch
- Nusii
- GetAccept
- ClientPoint
- Proposable
Top alternatives AKA software that are still in the sales tool category but focus on different aspects of sales, contract management, and customer support that some users might find lacking in Proposify
- CongaComposer
- Jotform
- Docsend
- DocuSign
- DealHub
- Loopio
- RFP360
Why consider Proposify alternatives?
Although Proposify is rated 4.6/5 on G2, there are a couple things about the app that still bug (pun not intended) long-term users. If you’re subscribed to one of their plans, you might even be familiar with a couple of these things:
You’re looking for a more consistent editor
Although the editor is intuitive, it’s not always consistent. A user noted that the editor has a “lot of glitches”, which slows down her proposal creation process. She also mentioned that prospects and clients can’t always access their proposals, and that the pricing tables are constantly glitching, with the editor removing formatting at random.
Another reviewer noted that adding photos and maps are particularly challenging because it slows down the entire app; Proposify’s customer support did provide recommendations on how to take and upload photos, but it might not be ideal for teams who aren’t willing to jump through hoops to supplement their proposals with media.
Even in glowing 5/5 reviews, there are several mentions of Proposify’s platform just being buggy in general, especially when it comes to copy pasting material from Microsoft Word or working with the pricing table.
You’re looking for a payment integration that accepts hybrid payment structures
Although Proposify offers Stripe integration, you might have to find a workaround if you accept both one-time payments and recurring monthly payments. With the way the integration is set up, users can only accept either one-time payments or recurring monthly payments.
Even with the interactive pricing tables, your prospect would have to pay off the platform if you want to support both payment structures.
You’re looking for more quick-launch template options to play with
Compared to newer players like Proposally and PandaDoc, Proposify’s “templates” are pretty limited. With Proposify, marketing and sales teams have to edit the single proposal template from scratch, customize it, and save it as their team’s template.
On the other hand, Proposally and PandaDoc have a richer library of 1,000+ templates filled with copy, images, and sections specific to the use-case and industry. It’s easier for marketing teams to set up new proposals or contracts by picking one that is exactly what they need, or close to what they need.
11 best Proposify competitors [16 analyzed]
Proposally
As one of the newest Proposify competitors, we knew we had big shoes to fill.
One of the things we wanted to improve on was the editor experience: our drag-and-drop editor addresses what Proposify users find lacking. We built our editor so that it can handle media embedding without slowing down or crashing: you can embed maps, images, charts, and graphs and it will render on the page without any issues.
You can use custom variables and merge tags to automatically fill out proposal templates. This makes it a breeze to A/B test and see which proposals resonate best with prospects, or to send personalized proposals to multiple clients all at once.
Team collaboration is super easy, too. You can invite your team members to jump in, comment, and edit proposals alongside you, making the whole process smoother and more collaborative.
Key Features
- Merge tags and custom variables to scale your customization
- Sales-based dashboard to see your proposal pipeline at a glance
- Reliable, modern drag-and-drop builder (similar to Figma, Canva, and Venngage)
- Powerful branding kit that automatically changes your proposals’ font size, color, and font, according to your branding with one click
- Element library with free access to stock photos, shapes, illustrations, and icons to personalize your proposal
- eSignatures
- Analytics such as page views, clicks, and time spent on page
- Web-based and responsive on any device
- We’re planning to add CRM and payment integration down the line
Best for
Sales and marketing teams who need to present a lot of data in their proposals. We help freelancers, agencies, and everyone in-between create data-rich proposals so you can supplement your pitch with studies, trends, reports, and other credibility-building resources.
Pricing
We have a 30-day free trial if you join our waitlist. We’ll be launching at $9/month and users get complete access to the editor suite, analytics, eSignature, and our comprehensive media library. Most options on this list start at $20+/month for one user.
Templates options
On launch, Proposally will have a library of free templates to choose from. We’re currently working on some cool templates for service-based proposals such as web design, SEO, cybersecurity services, and consultancy proposals.
Customer support
Our team might be smaller, but we’re dedicated. We have a 24/7 email support team and we’re working on creating a comprehensive knowledge hub so you can troubleshoot on your own time.
PandaDoc
PandaDoc is great at bringing together various contract formats like Word and PDF into one streamlined contract management system. You can create proposals and contracts from scratch using the PandaDoc editor or enhance your existing document workflow with e-signing capabilities through integrations with Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
You can set editing restrictions so recipients can only edit or comment on specific sections, allowing them to make live changes that you can approve.
PandaDoc is perfect for sales teams who want to streamline negotiations and work together smoothly on project terms.
Key Features
- Allows recipients to edit proposals based on editing restrictions set by users
- Access to 1,000+ library templates
- Pulls client data from CRM integration

- Embeddable client forms
- Analytics such as page views, clicks, and time spent on page

PandaDoc has tons of free quick-launch templates, from lease agreements to product launches. You can view all their templates here.
Customer support
Email and chat support are available to all subscription tiers. They have a help center knowledgebase with tons of content on the platform. You can get a dedicated customer success manager at an extra cost.
Qwilr
If you’re looking for something “flashier” than what Proposify has to offer, you might consider Qwilr.
Qwilr reimagines proposals by making them feel more like interactive landing pages rather than static documents. Their templates library doesn’t just include proposals: they have templates for case studies, follow-ups, and other sales-enablement material.
Like PandaDoc, you can create dynamic pricing tables that let recipients adjust the final cost by using sliders or toggling options.
Sales reps can also embed interactive elements like Calendly, Google Sheets, and Google Maps, and add videos and GIFs to make their proposals even more engaging.
Key Features
- Block-based editor
- Proposal activity notifications
- eSignatures
- Stripe integration
- Embed videos, calendar links, interactive pricing table/ROI calculator
- Live buyer analytics
- Pulls client data from CRM integration
- Can automatically generate sales quotes, pitch desks, and sales rooms within a CRM
- Shared team Content Library
- Permission-based editing
- Web-based and responsive on any device
Best for
Sales and marketing teams looking to streamline their collaboration across the entire sales process, from proposal to onboarding. Marketing teams can create templates that sales associates can launch within their CRM. Reconsider Qwilr if you need to convert your web-based proposal into a PDF because the conversion isn’t always smooth.
Pricing
$35/month per user:
- Unlimited documents
- Access to the content editor
- eSignatures
- Stripe integration
- Hubspot integration
- Interactive pricing table
- Page analytics
- Content Library
$59/month per user:
- Salesforce integration
- Custom domains
- Team permissions
- Chat support
Templates options
As I mentioned, Qwilr’s templates feel more like landing pages than documents. They have templates for onboarding, reporting, and sales contracts.
Customer support
Basic users have access to email support and Qwilr’s help center. Chat support and dedicated account management is unlocked at their Business plan at $59/month/user.
Better Proposals
Better Proposals uses a drag-and-drop proposal editor that supports various sales documents, including proposals, brochures, job offers, and contracts.
It’s like Qwilr but less flashy: it also supports different document formats, and uses a block-based layout similar to what you’d see on a landing page.
Better Proposals is a good pick if you’re looking for a block-based proposal editor and access to a reusable Content Library at a cheaper price.
Key Features
- Block-based editor with optional HTML editor
- Content Library
- Embed videos, GIFs, stock photos
- Web-based and responsive on any device
- Dynamic brand kit
- Document management
- Language localization
- eSignatures
- Live chat on the proposal
- Stripe and Paypal integration
Best for
Smaller teams and freelancers looking to “do it all” with one app. The Starter plan at $19/user/mo already includes the Content Library and Stripe, Paypal, and GoCardless integrations.

$19/month:
- 1 user
- 50 document sends per month
- eSignatures
- Payment integration
- Content Library
$29/user/month and higher:

Better Proposals has deck-like templates for proposals, online brochures, job offers, and contracts. All subscription tiers have free access to their template library.
Customer support
Users can access detailed help docs or opt in for a live chat for all subscriptions. A personalized onboarding call is unlocked for Premium and Enterprise users only.
Bidsketch
With Bidsketch, you’re not really customizing a proposal so much as filling in some details on a form. Unlike the other options on this list, you won’t be able to change the layout or theming of your proposal comprehensively, but the end-result still looks professional.
In Bidsketch, the content management and design process are separate: you’ll be writing the copy for your proposal, which the software will automatically render using a template.
You might like Bidsketch over Proposify if you’re looking to completely eliminate the personalization step of making proposals.
Key Features
- Reusable Content Library
- Embed images and videos
- Interactive pricing
- Automated “next steps” messages
- Proposal activity notification
- eSignatures
- Custom domain
Best for
Smaller teams or freelancers prioritizing speed of delivery and a custom domain over a flashy proposal. Bidsketch might not have a lot of customization options, but it has the foundational features such as the Content Library to help users scale their proposal game.
Pricing
$29/month (Solo Plan):
- One user
- Unlimited proposals
- Unlimited clients
- eSignatures
- Access to a custom domain
$79/month and higher:
- Real-time document collaboration
- Team management
- Ability to add more than one user
Templates options
Although the selection is limited, Bidsketch has templates available for contractor-type services such as web development, SEO, PPC, and copywriting. There are also more general proposal templates for consulting and branding services.
Customer support
Bidsketch has a self-help knowledgebase. It looks like they are mainly accessible through email.
Nusii
If you already like Bidsketch but you’re hoping for something that feels a little bit more modern, Nusii might be the better choice.
Nusii’s content design process is just like Bidsketch–you won’t be touching any of the design, the most you’ll do is fill out the individual sections of your proposal and save them as reusable content blocks in your Content Library.
Key Features
- eSignatures
- 35+ language localization options
- Interactive pricing table
- Embed videos and photos
- SMS-based proposal activity notifications
- Stripe integration
- Custom domain
- Merge tags and custom variables
- Chat integration
Best for
Agencies and small teams with clients in multiple regions, looking for local language and taxation support. Nusii has the foundational features such as Content Library and dynamic/optional pricing at a much cheaper price ($49/month for 3 users VS $20+/user/month for apps like Better Proposals)
Pricing

- 5 active proposals
- 1 user seat
- eSignatures
- Ability to send an email from your own domain
- Chat integrations
- Unlimited clients
- Stripe integration
- Multiple currency and language support

$49/month and higher
- 20-50+ active proposals
- Custom domain
- CRM integrations
Templates options
Nusii has a handful of proposal templates here.
Customer support
Chat and email support are part of all tiers. Priority support is reserved for their Business-tier users ($129/month).
GetAccept
If you ever thought, “Proposify is great, but I wish I could do more than just send proposals”, GetAccept might be a better option for you.
At the core, GetAccept is a digital sales room software. This means you can create a “room” where you can chat and exchange resources with your prospects and clients.
GetAccept also has a proposal editor so sales associates can launch one of their templates and create one from scratch.
Key Features
- Digital sales room
- Mutual action plan tracker for the recipient and sales associate
- Pricing/product library
- Interactive pricing table
- eSignatures
- Proposal activity notification
- Live chat on the document
- Shared team Content Library
- Folder-based document management system
Best for
Cross-functional teams who want to eliminate all other apps and use just one hub to keep track of all their sales and marketing materials.
Pricing
GetAccept has multiple pricing options depending on the services or features you’ll be getting. Below is the pricing option for their Full Suite package, which includes access to all of their features.
$79/user/month
- Unlimited rooms
- Unlimited eSignatures
- Analytics
- Proposal templates
- Basic integrations
Enterprise plan (contact for price):
- Contract management
- CPQ/product library
Templates options
GetAccept has some free proposal templates available for B2B saas, real estate, HR, hospitality, and consulting industries.
Customer support
Support options include the help center and live chat support. You can optionally add a dedicated customer success manager for an extra fee.
ClientPoint
If you have multiple assets in Word, Excel, or Powerpoint format and you don’t really want to redesign new proposals from scratch and just merge all those documents into one proposal, ClientPoint does exactly just that.
Majority of the options above fall into the proposal design and builder category, whereas ClientPoint is all about saving a library of existing company assets and merging that into a singular, web-based proposal.
Like GetAccept, ClientPoint is more of a digital room software–users can send proposals and chat with prospects within the same “hub”.
Key Features
- Shared team Content Library
- Web-based viewer
- Analytics such as views, downloads, and opens
- Live sales dashboard
- Calendar invites within ClientPoint
- Native video conferencing (ClientPoint Meet)
Best for
Freelancers, solopreneurs, or one-man sales teams looking primarily to engage (chat, video call, schedule meetings) their prospects with just one tool. The free option already allows integration with other apps, which is typically locked in paid tiers. ClientPoint’s document merging capabilities are unlocked at their Enterprise tier.
Pricing
Free
- Digital sales room
- eSignatures
- Chat, schedule, share content
- Integration with Zoom, Calendly, AdobeSign, Calendly, and DropBox
$499.75/month and higher
- Document creation/merging
- Team collaboration and sharing
- Web-based viewer
- Live dashboard
- ClientPoint Meet, native video call tool
- ClientPoint Schedule, native calendar tool
Templates options
ClientPoint’s templates are more about the sections than the “look and feel” of the final document. You can see the templates folder within the app, which is prepopulated with relevant sections grouped together that you can replace and customize with your own content.
Customer support
ClientPoint has email and phone support for all users, including those on the free plan. You can get a personalized onboarding and training for your support team, and a dedicated Client Success Manager on the Enterprise Essentials plan.
Dealhub
Another option on the list that includes a digital sales room is DealHub. Like GetAccept, DealHub has different options, depending on the features you need the most.
If you’re looking for a more flexible payment option than Proposify that accepts both one-time payments and recurring monthly payments, the DealHub billing plan automates billing for you, and also accommodates more complex usage-based pricing structures.
If your primary goal is to send out beautiful proposals, the DealRoom tier includes the usual features such as: analytics, eSignature, document generation, and the ability to create online forms.
Key Features
Features vary depending on the plan you’re on:
DealRoom, which is the closest analog they have to Proposify, includes:
- Digital sales room
- Ability to create online forms
- eSignatures
- Analytics and tracking
- Contract management (CLM)
- Web-based proposals
DealHubCPQ and DealHub Billing:
- Interactive pricing table
- Subscription renewal and management
- Team collaboration
- CRM to ERP connectivity
Best for
Teams who want to accommodate different pricing models reliably. DealHub has a dedicated plan called DealHub Billing that can accommodate more complex pricing structures.
Pricing
None of DealHub’s pricing options are public. Contact sales for more information.
Templates options
Dealhub doesn’t have a library of templates but you do have the option to generate documents such as pricing quotes, business proposals, order forms, and contacts. Customizability seems to be limited to Dealhub’s format and template.
Customer support
Dealhub has a comprehensive knowledge base hub. Users can get support by submitting tickets using their system or sending an email to their customer support line.
Proposable
Proposable is basically a more comprehensive version of Proposify, giving managers insight into their sales teams’ individual and team performance over a period of time. Proposable also lets teams manage, re-assign, and comment on proposals for easier collaboration.
If you find Proposify’s sales-focused dashboard helpful, but you’re looking to expand it to get a complete overview of your sales team’s win-loss ratios, activity within proposals, and the quantity of proposals they send, Proposable’s search and filter functionalities and report generation features make it easier to stay on top of your team’s proposal pipeline.
Key Features
- eSignatures
- Content Library
- Comprehensive pipeline analytics
- SMS proposal activity notifications
- Stripe integration
- Custom domain
Best for
Sales leads who want insight on their sales team’s performance. Proposable has the most comprehensive Enterprise plan out of all the other options, but it might be lacking for freelancers and smaller agencies with a limit of 5 proposal delivers/month for their solo tier at $19/user/month.
Pricing
19/user/month:
- 5 proposal deliveries per month
- eSignatures
- Content Library
- Proposal analytics
- SMS notifications
$39/user/month and higher:
- Unlimited proposals
- CRM integration
- Stripe payment
- Team collaboration for proposals
- Custom URL
- Team and department stats
Templates options
Proposable has some templates but it won’t be as beautiful as Proposally’s, PandaDoc’s, or even Qwilr’s. They have free proposal templates for catering, investments, events organization, and even solar services.
Customer support
All tiers get access to email and chat support. Users on the Enterprise tier get access to phone support.
Jotform
Jotform is a powerful form builder at heart that lets you capture leads and acquire information for events. Jotform’s drag-and-drop PDF editor lets users create proposals from scratch or edit their templates, which will be populated based on the data you collected within your forms. It’s like a mini CRM and a proposal software in one.
Key Features
- Library of templates for proposals, approval processes, contracts, and registration/lead gen forms
- PDF to web-based form converter
- Dedicated form builder for lead gen
- Drag-and-drop PDF builder
- Stripe and Paypal integration
- Integration with Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Salesforce, Hubspot, and more
Best for
Teams who want to keep their lead gen and outbound sales processes in one place. If you want to track your proposal’s analytics, look elsewhere; Jotfotm only tracks analytics for forms, not PDFs.
Pricing
Free:
- 5 forms
- 100 monthly submissions
- 1 user/ team
- 100 fields per form
- 10 monthly payment submissions
$34/month and higher:
- 25 forms
- 1,000 monthly submissions
- 1 user per team
- No Jotform branding
Templates options
Majority of the PDF templates on Jotform are contract or service agreements. There are a handful generic proposal templates, such as a cleaning proposal template and an event proposal template.
Customer support
The support team is available 24/7 through the site’s contact page.
5 Proposify alternatives
If you find that Proposify isn’t to your liking, maybe it’s because it’s not supporting what matters most to you in the sales process.
Remember: Proposify is a proposal software. Maybe you’re looking for a different tool that helps you manage high-level service agreements or complex stakeholder inquiries.
Here are sales tool alternatives that you might be interested in:
CongaComposer: End-to-end contract management
CongaComposer is a feature of the end-to-end contract management software, Conga. Within CongaComposer, you can generate and automate the sending of CPQs, contracts, billings and payments, as well as contract renewal documentation.
Choose CongaComposer if: You want more than just proposal generation. CongaComposer can automate various buyer phases and processes, making your workflow smoother. Need quotes and invoices? CongaComposer handles those too, ensuring they’re accurate and sent on time. Plus, it takes care of post-sale documentation like service agreements and follow-up communications, so every document looks professional and compliant.
Docsend: Online document sharing and tracking
Docsend from Dropbox is a document sharing platform. You can’t create proposals within the app, but you can upload existing documentation and generate a link so prospects can access all of it online. DocSend integrates with Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox.
Docsend also lets you generate unique links for each prospect, so you can track opens and time spent per page.
Choose CongaComposer if: You don’t need to create proposals from scratch and just want to reuse existing assets you have stored in Drive and Dropbox. You’re only looking to give prospects the option to eSign documents and track your files’ performance.
DocuSign: Agreement and contract lifecycle management
DocuSign initially made its mark as a leading eSignature platform, but it has since evolved to offer much more. The platform now includes Intelligent Agreement Management, a newly introduced feature that leverages AI to identify and address roadblocks in the approval and agreement process.
Choose DocuSign: You have complex contract processes and you want to automate it with pre-configured workflows for approval, storing contracts, sending for signature, and more.
Loopio and RFP360: Response management software
Loopio and Responsive.io (formerly RFP360) are both fantastic tools in the response management software category, designed to make life easier when dealing with requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and similar documents.
Response management software basically lets teams assign contact persons for answering queries from stakeholders and organizations. This ensures that the appropriate subject matter expert is always the person in charge of responding to queries.
Choose Loopio and RFP360 if: Your organization wants a streamlined way of responding to stakeholder RFIs and RFPs.
